“Make these hearts intwine with yours
Jesus lead the way
What we’ve seen, all that we’ve learnt
Built up to this day” – Matthew Mole
Words fail me as I try to describe the beauty of Morné & Rochelle’s wedding day; as I look at the photos, reliving the moments – I am in awe of what God has allowed me to capture.
This is their story: “The first time he saw me was at a pub in Stellenbosch, on the dance floor. The first time I saw him was in the University library a month or so later. I looked up from my books and there he was. Morné organised a coffee date via my best friend and the rest is history.” After Rochelle worked abroad as an air hostess for a year, she realised Morné was the one she wanted to share her life with.
This is how he proposed: “We were on a family holiday on the West Coast. On the last day of the holiday, Morne suggested we go take a walk on the beach as the sun went down. We sat on a dune just talking and having a sundowner when he took out a little box and asked me to marry him. We celebrated a bit on our own, taking in the moment before going back to the house and celebrating with my family over some champagne and crayfish.”
