I’m a farm girl who went to the city, picked up a camera and pursued the dream of having my own business. 13 Years later I love capturing moments and teaching other photographers to also pursue their dreams.
Not so long ago I was in your shoes, busy planning my dream wedding. ‘24 March 2012’ was the date, and we couldn’t have been more excited (or overwhelmed)!
In the months and then weeks and then mere days leading up to our wedding day, I certainly had my fair share of bridalmania — a species of anxiety suffered by every bride in the world!
However, the most important thing for me in the entire planning process to get right was this: The wedding photography is a very big deal to me! (And even that’s an understatement.) As the post-wedding calm settled in and we looked back on our wedding day, there were some uniquely precious moments that glowed especially bright in my memory: my proud dad walking me, his youngest daughter, slowly down the aisle, that moment my eyes fell on my soon-to-be husband, and the roars, guffaws and giggles of laughter during the speeches.
Above all, what I remember are the emotions I experienced on my wedding day. When I page through our wedding album, or a framed photo of us catches my eye, I find myself whisked instantly back in time to that exact moment, and I remember how I felt.
From start to finish, my hope and aim is for you to be at ease. From your first meeting with me, and then choosing me as your wedding photographer, to being so completely at ease in front of the camera-wielding me, that you’ll forget I am even there!

I am the youngest of 4 sisters and we grew up on a farm on the West Coast in Lambert’s Bay. My parents own the award winning wedding venue, Bosduifklip Restaurant. That is where I learnt all about working with clients & how to serve them with great love and care.
Photography was really not something I ever thought of pursuing as a career, but God had other plans. When I was handed a camera towards the end of 2008 (I was only 19) I decided to attend some photography classes to get the hang of it. From there on I was thrown into the deep end; having to start a business from the bottom up.
My turning point came after a friend one day told me that if I don’t get up and make things happen, no one else will do it for me. That was when I decided ‘LETS DO THIS’! It is now 13 years later since I photographed my first wedding, and it has ALL truly been such a big testimony of what God has done! The road has not been easy, but I am so IN LOVE with what I do.
In 2012 I married my sweet (and very handsome) husband, Ruan. He is the cream to my cappuccino, ice to my ice cream & just everything God knew my heart needed. And together with our boy Eli, we choose each day to live out our purpose.
