I'm Coba Sophia,

I am your Christian Wedding Photographer based in Cape Town (also available to travel).

Having been married for 12+ years myself, I know how important it is to have Christ as the rock and foundation of your marriage.

Your wedding day is the start of an amazing adventure; and I know you want to make the Lord part of every aspect of your lives. He is the one who brought you together, and now you can become Mr & Mrs while giving Him the glory.

And I would love to capture all these memorable moments for you!

but about providing you with beautifully bespoke, love-inspired service, weaving an unforgettable atmosphere around your special life event that truly reflects YOU and how much God loves you.

The experience that you have with me as your Christian wedding photographer will be a professional one, but also personal, because I care about you as a couple and your wedding day 🙂 ‘Cause it is THE BEST DAY EVER!

You will receive lots of helpful info to help you plan your wedding day, so that you can get the best images you deserve. I am able to read people well and can handle all kinds of family dynamics, that way I can capture everything in a seamless way. This is YOUR day, so I am there to capture it and it is SO important to me to be non-intrusive in every aspect.

Your wedding day should be intentional.

As you start planning your wedding, you want every part of the day to reflect who you are as a couple and for it to be intentional. Be it the flowers, your dress or your budget; make sure to collaborate (and pray together) about every aspect of the planning.

On your wedding day, you can be rest-assured that as your Christian wedding photographer, I am intentional in every photo that I take. It can be moments that happen quickly, or posed photos; you can be at ease as I’ve got your back when it comes to the photos/video.

For me the meaning of a wedding day is truly special, and I believe that

God has hand-picked you two for each other.

You should probably know that lots of prayers go into your wedding day, especially for good weather 😉

Plan for your marriage, not just your wedding.

I am sure you’ve heard this before, and it couldn’t be more true. Yes, your wedding day should be amazing, intentional and BEAUTIFUL, but what comes after your wedding day is even more important.

Take time to go to marriage prep classes at your church or get an older couple to mentor you as you prepare to become Mr & Mrs.

Set out to be the best spouse and to love your future husband/wife with Godly love, laying down your life for each other (daily).

TIPS FOR YOUR CHRISTIAN WEDDING CEREMONY

1. Worship

Play a few of your favourite worship songs during the ceremony. Making the Lord’s presence part of your day will also help you to relax and enjoy the day.

2. Wash each other’s feet

This is a beautiful way to portray the ‘laying down of self’ in marriage.

3. Communion

As Jesus said; “Do this in remembrance of Me”. He saved you and has now given you the one person you want to spend the rest of your earthly life with.

4. Prayer

Pray for each other, but you can also have family and friends gather around you to pray and speak the Lord’s blessing over your marriage.

5. Vows

Personal vows can truly be so special! Think and pray this through so that it blesses your future spouse and make sure to record this part on video 🙂
