I pride myself the approach I take from the moment you inquire till way after your wedding day. I want the experience that you have with me to be a professional one, but also personal, because I care about you as a couple and your wedding day 🙂 ‘Cause it is THE BEST DAY EVER!

I take time to send you lots of helpful info to help you plan your wedding day, so that you can get the best images you deserve. I am able to read people well and can handle all kinds of family dynamics, that way I can capture everything in a seamless way. This is YOUR day, so I am there to capture it and it is SO important to me to be non-intrusive in every aspect.

AN EYE FOR DETAIL

Even though I handle things in a gentle manner I am still firm in my work and what you should expect from me through the whole process.

On a wedding day (and at your engagement session) I will make sure that you get LOTS of guidance where it is needed, especially during any portraits or family photos. Even if you are more ‘uncomfortable’ in front of the camera, I will make sure you enjoy the experience.

I am constantly on the look out for MOMENTS as they happen and capturing details at your wedding is my priority. For me the meaning of a wedding day is so beautiful, and I truly believe that God has hand-picked you two for each other. You should probably know that lots of prayers go into your wedding day, especially for good weather 😉

My wedding collections start at R16 500 – I LOVE what I do and never want to turn away an amazing couple who are madly in love and value their wedding photos. So lets have that conversation and talk about your budget. Let’s see what we can make work. If you want amazing photos, but you don’t want to spend too much; you perhaps only need me there for the most important parts of your day.

I WANT TO CAPTURE YOUR DAY

I want to hear your story and vision for your wedding day, maybe there are certain aspects or people who are really important that you want photographed – then I want to hear about it. The more I know the better I can capture it all for you.

I love creating an atmosphere that reflects who you are! One that makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
The end result of your photos will be warm, intimate & vibrant. The same goes for the Love in Motion Films – I capture all your memorable moments on video.

THE PROCESS

INITIAL MEETING

I love getting to know my couples over a phone call or cup of coffee. This is a great way for you to see if I am the perfect photographer for you.

BOOKING

Once you are ready to book, I require a 50% booking fee & signed contract.
After booking you will receive my wedding guide to help you plan and prep for your wedding day.

PLANNING + CONSULTATIONS

We will continue to stay in touch and work together so that you only have the best experience and get the beautiful photos you are dreaming of. I want to be there for you every step of the way, I am only a phone call or email away.

ENGAGEMENT SESSION

If you have this included in your package; we will decide together which location will be special for you two – I will also share tips in regards to outfits etc.

PRE-WEDDING DAY

Leading up to your wedding day I will share a questionnaire with you to make sure I have all the important details; timeline, locations etc. We can also setup a phone call or meeting to go over all the details together.

YOUR WEDDING DAY

On your big day I will be there for you; capture all your moments & guide you in front of the camera for photos & video (if you chose the Love in Motion film as well). You just have to relax and enjoy every moment!

POST-WEDDING DAY

Within 48 hours I will share a beautiful preview with you. Your full wedding gallery will be shared online within 8-12 weeks (sometimes sooner). This gallery you can can be shared with friends & family. Your wedding video will be shared a week or 2 after your photos. Further instructions for your album will be shared to ensure an effortless experience.

Yes of course! Even though I am based in Cape Town, I travel all over South Africa for weddings. And I am also available for international travel (I have a few bucket list destination I would love to travel to). Bucket list destinations include: Mauritius, Iceland, USA, Italy, Maldives… If you pay for my travel, I will photograph your wedding for free 😉

Yes, I offer highlights films (Love in Motion Films) for couple sessions or weddings. I also offer full length wedding films on request. You can view Love in Motion films here.

Yes, I do 🙂 Some packages include a second photographer as well.

Post processing is the most time consuming part after a wedding. I work hard to ensure each image meets a particular artistic standard. I colour correct all the images so that the tones of the images are consistent. But if there is a blemish that decided to make it’s debut on your wedding day, I will make sure to remove it.

YES! All my couples are always very happy that they did an engagement shoot. It is a nice way for all of us to get to know each other, and for you to have a practice run in front of the camera. I promise you, IT IS A LOT OF FUN! 🙂

It varies with each wedding collection, but with most weddings I deliver between 600-1000 images. For couples sessions +/- 80 images.

I only use professional camera gear. I started out with Canon and currently I am also using Fujifilm with a variety of different lenses.
