Weekday Wedding in Cape Town
Throughout the years of being a wedding photographer in Cape Town, I’ve found that weekday weddings are a lot more fun than people think.
You might have different reasons for considering a weekday wedding, but overall you will not regret it!

What to keep in mind for a weekday wedding in Cape Town:
Send save-the-dates in advance
Fewer guests might be able to attend if they cannot get off at work. If you send out your save-the-date well in advance, they can plan ahead and still attend your wedding.
Best for destination weddings
If you are not from South Africa and most of your guests will also be travelling, then a weekday wedding might be your best option. More availability from venues and service providers, and some even have special weekday rates.
Your reception might end earlier
If some of your guests have to be back at work the next day, then don’t expect them to stay late.
Consider a long weekend
What makes a weekday wedding even better is if it happens close to a long-weekend or on a public holiday.
Service Provider Availability
More service providers will be available on a weekday, as most are booked in advance for weekend weddings.
Spend more time with your guests
Why not think about creating a week full of fun activities with your guests? Especially if you are travelling from abroad. Cape Town has so much to offer!
