Anro & Ruth’s wedding at Diamant Estate in Paarl.
They met at the street soiree in Stellenbosch in 2018. And then when Ruth had to go back to the Netherlands, their long distance relationship started (Anro made sure to write Ruth a very sweet letter to read on her flight back home). They then got engaged in 2021 while hiking in the hills of the province Limburg in the Netherlands.
Their wedding style/vibe was soft, romantic, tasteful but not too uptight.
Their advice for couples planning their wedding: “Enjoy the process and preselect a few specific milestones to celebrate along the way.”
One of their favourite moments while planning their wedding: “Cake tasting, as this was something we really enjoyed doing together and it was fun to involve some friends and family to blind-fold them in choosing the second flavour combination.”
